Grundfos is a Danish pump manufacturer based in Denmark, with more than 19,000 employees worldwide.
Annual output of more than 16 million units of pumps, circulating pumps (PUs), submersible pumps (PS) and centrifugal pumps (CR). Grundfos also manufactures electric motors for pumps, as well as electric motors for special trade. Grundfos develops and sells control electronics for pumps and other systems.
Grundfos was established in 1945 in Bjerringbro by the late Poul Due Jensen. He renamed his company "Bjerringbro Pressestøberi og Maskinfabrik" (Bjerringbro Die-Casting and Machinery Factory) and not until 1967, after several name changes, did the company get its current name.
